Gina's unyielding faithfullness
and efforts made it possible for us to publish a list of individuals
buried at St. Paul CME /Hattie Adger's cemetery. Her determination spearheaded
the Cemetery Restoration Project and will not go unforgotten. The
project will continue on in the spirit of Gina's dedication. Gina will
be sorely missed by all.

SHREVEPORT, LA - Homegoing Celebration for
Gina Denise Glover, 47, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2006
at the Lake Bethleham Baptist Church, 2842 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd,
Rev. Dennis Everett, Pastor. Rev. Deloris Williams, Pastor of St. Paul
C.M.E. Church, Gina's pastor, will deliver the Oration and Rev. Clarence
Glover, Jr., Pastor of First African Freedom Church, Dallas, TX, will
deliver the Eulogy. The family hour will be Friday, June 16, 2006 from
6-8 p.m. at Lake Bethleham Baptist Church. Interment will be at The St.
Paul C.M.E. Church Cemetery.
Gina passed June 11, 2006 at Willis Knighton Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Shreveport to Elizabeth Bradford Glover and the late Clarence
E. Glover, Sr., Gina attended Northside Elementary School and Green Oaks
High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech from Grambling
State University and her Masters' Degree in Speech Pathology from Murray
State University.
At an early age, Gina accepted Christ at St. Paul C.M.E. Church, where
she served on the Stewardess Board and chaired The Church Anniversary
and The Annual Sankofa Memorial Day Service.
Gina was Director of Rehabilitation Services and Therapist Supervisor/
Sunbelt Therapy Management Services.
Committed to motivating children, she was CEO of MOD II, Inc., a character
development agency for youth. Through her GMON Program she used animated
monkey characters to motivate youth to develop positive character and
be academically successful.
Gina is survived by her son, Quincey Glover, SR. (Kineana Davis); her
grandson, Quincey Glover, JR.; her mother Elizabeth Bradford Glover;
grandfather, Wash Bradford, Jr.; sister, Rosalind Bryant (James); brother
Larry Wall (Tammy); Rev. Clarence E. Glover, Jr.; Representative Cedric
B. Glover (Veronica); and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
A special Perpetual Care Memorial Fund has been established in her memory
for the care of the church cemetery. Donations may be sent to St. Paul
C.M.E. Church, P. O. Box 118, Belcher, LA 71104.
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the many prayers
and kindnesses shown.
