Herndon Cemetery (aka: LA Negro Cemetery on Raines Lease). Located in NW LA Caddo Parish near the town of Belcher Louisiana. These people owned considerable lands that eventually became oil fields. Before the oil development they were wealthy and at their deaths large monuments wee placed on their graves. These people were mostly mulatto.
